Your health record is kept confidential and all information is securely stored. We always follow the ethical guidelines of the BACP which is a professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK.

Well Minds Online collects the following data: name, date of birth, email address, phone number, postal address, GP details, medical history, emergency contact details and presenting issues and notes from assessment and counselling sessions. We will also collect education, career history, supervision details, professional organisation information and insurance information from counsellors.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Well Minds Online with all the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you: Register online and place an order for counselling services. Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email. Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

When Well Minds Online processes your order you will also provide credit/debit card details to make online payments for counselling therapy services.

How do we store your data?

Well Minds Online securely stores your data at Microsoft Office 365 cloud storage in the UK South or UK West data centres and web captured data at Unlimited Web Hosting in accredited data centres in the UK Manchester. Well Minds Online will keep your data for 6 years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data, care will be taken to ensure all data is fully deleted.


Well Minds Online will not send you marketing information about our services and will not share your data with anyone.
