About me

I am a student counsellor.  I love being in nature, especially long walks in the forest with my cocker spaniel. I find it healing and calming. Before embarking on my counselling career, I worked as a teacher in Spain. I have always worked closely with people coping with life’s challenges. I do so with compassion and empathy, having witnessed the transformative effects of counselling in my own experience as client.

My therapeutic approach

My training to date has been within the person-centred approach. I am guided by the client; both in the areas that we explore and the pace at which we move. I can offer the support and structure to help clients discover solutions within themselves. I have experience in supporting people explore a range of presenting issues; from anxiety and panic to sexuality and gender identity. I welcome and encourage you to bring anything that may be affecting your wellbeing.

Qualifications and training

I am currently working to complete my MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Keele University.

Professional body membership

I'm a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and bound by their code of ethics for standard practice in counselling. I also work closely with my clinical supervisor at all times.
